All UTV Battlegrounds events will begin with the Obstacle Course Challenge. These courses will feature obstacles from the woods such as logs, boulders, mud, and more, as well as new, unique obstacles created specifically for UTV Battlegrounds. Each competitor will have one opportunity to complete the course with the fastest time possible. Once the racing is done, the competitor with the fastest time is the Obstacle Course Champion; taking home the first eight points of the night as well as earning the number one qualifying seed into the Head to Head Racing Bracket.
Head To Head Racing
All eight competitors are seeded into the racing bracket based on their finish in the Battlegrounds Obstacle Course. Starting with all eight competitors, pairs face off racing on this fast paced racecourse with the goal of crossing the finish line first. Four competitors will advance into the semi-final round and the fastest two competitors will face off in the championship race. The winner of the Head to Head Elimination Racing Bracket will claim eight points in pursuit the Overall Event Championship, hoping to take home the Series Title.
Two Wheel Trick Competition
Each competitor will receive three opportunities to complete their best two wheel moves such as wheelies, poppers, moonwalks, bicycles, and more. The competition highlights the skill sets of each competitor, requiring to test their concentration and patience while completing the hard moves. Will you see one of these cool tricks or witness the creation of something new? Check out a UTV Battlegrounds event to find out!
Long Jump Competition
The Long Jump Competition tests the acceleration and top speed of Battlegrounds UTV's as well as the guts of the athletes. Each competitor will have one opportunity to launch their UTV as far as possible, trying to set the length to beat. The goal is to set the bar for longest jump while also keeping the UTV intact for the following competitions. The competitor with the farthest jump will take home the Long Jump win.
Donut Competition
In the UTV Battlegrounds Donut Competition, competitors will have to fight the forces of gravity to break their side by sides loose into tight donuts. Donuts should be scored based off of the number of rotations, speed, skill, and control, with the competitor completing the best donut taking the win.
Battlegrounds Freestyle
UTV Battlegrounds Freestyle is the event everyone wants to see. During a Battlegrounds Freestyle the only rule is that there is no rules. Drivers will have 2 minutes to do whatever they please; sky wheelies, donuts, bicycles, saves, and of course huge air. Momentum, filling the clock, and the overall wow factor should be the main factors for scoring. The competitor with the highest score takes the final eight points of the night, hoping to clinch the Overall Event Championship.
